Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Weekend Per Diem/Float
Location: Great Barrington, MA
Pay: $25.00/hour

We're seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in Great Barrington, MA . This is a per diem/as-needed position primarily covering all weekend shifts , with occasional weekday opportunities as staffing needs arise.


This unique float position supports both our adult and youth residential programs located on the same campus , so flexibility and confidence working with individuals of varying ages and support needs is essential.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to adults and youth with developmental and behavioral needs.
• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Support adults requiring total care .
• Implement behavioral support strategies while maintaining a safe, positive environment.
• Encourage independence and community participation whenever appropriate.
• Complete documentation accurately and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow all safety, health, and program policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience working as a DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, or in a similar human services role preferred.
• Must be comfortable providing total care to adults (feeding, toileting, & bathing)
• Must be comfortable supporting challenging behaviors among both children and adults.
• Must be willing and able to work in both the youth and adult programs as needed.
• Must be able to successfully pass an EEC background check .
• Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic are required.

Schedule

• Per Diem / As Needed
• All weekend shifts available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts)
• Occasional weekday shifts may become available
• Schedule released weekly or every two weeks , based on staffing needs

Pay & Benefits

• $25.00 per hour
