Schedule: 12 hour shifts | 6:45pm-7am Sign‑on Bonus – up to $20,000 for 2 or more years of experience. Previous employees must have been away for at least 2 years to qualify. How You’ll Contribute: As an RN in the ED, you will operate within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support. Essential Functions Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed. Maintains reliable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. Patient populations served include neonate, infant, early childhood, late childhood, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, older adult. What We’re Looking For Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred. Active Arizona or Compact RN license. BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications required within 90 days of hire. TNCC required within one year of hire. One year of experience preferred.
