Sr Hangar MX Planner

Job Overview Receives aircraft work scope from the LRP team and applies workflow templates to build daily work plans. Monitors progress to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule. Essential Functions Performs daily audit of closed work items to ensure compliance with documentation requirements. Attends and chairs daily production meetings. Reviews open items and EO/EA assignments to ensure tooling, special skills, and parts are available to accomplish the work. Monitors and adjusts plans for changes in the maintenance schedule to ensure optimal utilization of available manpower. Provides the daily production plan and chairs a daily production call upon completion of maintenance; coordinates with Aircraft Records to ensure aircraft and engines are serviceable. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High school diploma or GED and an A&P license, with two (2) years of aircraft mechanic experience, or a bachelor’s degree/equivalent in a technical discipline such as aviation business management, maintenance technology, or engineering. Minimum Experience Four (4) years of related experience in an airline, repair station, manufacturer or military environment accomplishing instruction, task planning, and/or scheduling, and/or modification planning. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have experience in maintenance manuals and FARS. Job Conditions Non‑covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week. Location Memphis, TN (MEM).
