We are looking for a detailed-oriented and dedicated Dental Hygienist to play a vital role in our clinical team. In this position, you will be a primary advocate for our patients' oral health, performing thorough preventive treatments and delivering essential health education. We provide a professional setting where you can utilize your expertise in medical imaging, patient assessment, and pediatric care to make a lasting impact on our community's wellness.

Preventive Care: Perform professional dental prophylaxis, including thorough cleaning, scaling, and polishing to prevent oral disease.

Clinical Assessment: Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and record vital signs while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

Imaging & Diagnostics: Utilize medical imaging techniques to take radiographs, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and radiation safety.

Patient Education: Counsel patients on oral hygiene practices, explain dental terminology, and clarify treatment plans to support long-term health.

Clinical Support: Provide chairside assistance during general and pediatric dental procedures and collaborate with dentists on comprehensive care plans.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain rigorous infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment areas according to OSHA and clinical guidelines.

Documentation: Accurately manage electronic health records (EHR) and treatment notes to ensure precise patient charting.

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.

Proven proficiency in dental scaling, prophylaxis, and preventive health.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols.

Demonstrated experience with medical imaging and X-ray techniques.

Proficiency in EHR management and accurate patient charting.

Ability to maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Mid-level experience in a private practice or clinical setting.

Experience in pediatric dentistry and a comfortable demeanor with children.

Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.

Knowledge of medical coding specifically related to dental procedures.

Previous experience in healthcare infection prevention and OSHA regulatory compliance.

Working Hours

Business Hours:

Monday – Tuesday: 9 AM – 6 PM

Wednesday: 9 AM – 6 PM

Thursday – Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM

Saturday: 8 AM – 3 PM

Sunday: Closed

Shift: Twice a week, flexible days to be discussed.
