Responsibilities The OHH Cook is responsible for preparing food products utilizing basic and advanced cooking techniques, standardized recipes and plating guidelines, meeting production schedules in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures while ensuring proper utilization and storage of food and supplies. Prepares food items as assigned for patients and guests, cafeteria, physicians’ dining room, and catering. Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in the kitchen in order to meet established health and sanitation standards. Ensures all food is handled and stored properly. Operates all food service equipment according to manufacturers’ directions. Reports equipment problems to Manager. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licensure/Certification: Formalized food safety and sanitation training preferred. Experience: One (1) year of related experience with high volume cooking line food preparation in a full service establishment.
