Since opening in 1982, our hospital has been serving the healthcare needs of Seminole and West Volusia counties. As an accredited 221-bed acute care hospital, we offer a wide range of medical specialties and surgeries, including the only full-service cardiovascular program in the region, level II trauma services, advanced stroke care, orthopedic and spine care, advanced robotic surgery, and inpatient rehabilitative services. HCA Florida Lake Monroe hospital provides emergency services at 2 locations, the main hospital and HCA Florida Heathrow Emergency.
HCA Florida Lake Monroe is located 3.6 miles east of I-4 between S.R. 46 and Highway 17-92 in Sanford. The hospital has been designated a Level II trauma center and provides 24/7 emergency care in Sanford.
