Doggy Daycare Attendant - Paid Training Provided

Position Camp Counselor Job Overview Camp Bow Wow Albany is hiring for full‑time and part‑time Camp Counselors to provide loving care for dogs and deliver superior customer service to pet parents. Full‑time counselors will work 34‑40 hours per week and be available for weekend work. Part‑time counselors will work 20‑24 hours per week and also be available for weekend shifts. Responsibilities Supervise playgroups of up to 25 energetic dogs in an open play environment, ensuring safety and preventing altercations. Provide a safe and clean environment for dogs to play; feed dogs, administer medications, and give baths as needed. Maintain cleanliness of play yards, cabins, and surrounding areas. Engage with pet parents through front‑desk or lobby interactions, offering friendly customer service. Assist with any front‑desk activities when required, maintaining an active role while also supervising dogs. Requirements Must love dogs and demonstrate no fear across all breeds and sizes. Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable with both pets and people. Must be positive, detail‑oriented, trustworthy, punctual, reliable, and responsible. Available to work weekends and holidays; can work when others are on vacation. Physically able to lift 150+ pounds. Ability to multi‑task and work well under pressure. Have a reliable personal vehicle. Available to work during the hours 6:15am – 7:45pm, and on holidays and weekends.
