As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.What We Look ForBe a dedicated member of the Local 32 Union.Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC/R experience, with direct chiller experience preferred.Able to repair centrifugal compressors and screw chillers system components.06A Electrical LicenseOsha 10 or 30 CertifiedAbility to work independently and communicate effectively with customers and team membersDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control system issuesPerform refrigerant leak detection, recovery, evacuation, charging, and documentation in compliance with EPA regulationsTravel maybe required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting.Opportunity to invest in career development. Able to write and communicate to the customer problem, cause, and corrective actions.Able to provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI's Service Plus Rewards program.Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job.Prioritize safety in all formsUniversal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsOEM training from manufacturers such as Trane, Carrier, York, DaikinExperience with vibration analysis and predictive maintenance technologiesTroubleshoot and repair centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating compressorsExperience with chiller overhauls, large repairs, startups, and performing maintenance*This is a Bargaining Unit Position.Pay Range: $68.47 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
