Material Handler

Material Handler Location: Vandalia, OH Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday – Friday) plus Saturdays for overtime as needed Job Overview Perform material handling duties in a fast‑moving warehouse environment, including moving materials, staging orders, scanning items, and maintaining an organized, safe work area. Responsibilities Move materials and stage orders for order fulfillment. Scan and track items to keep inventory accurate. Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks (electric or manual) and stretch wrap machines. Use safe handling techniques and adhere to all safety guidelines and policies. Collaborate with team members to support daily warehouse operations. Perform additional job‑related tasks and follow instructions from supervisors. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (preferred). Experience with cherry pickers or other high‑reach equipment. Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet. Ability to lift 50 lbs. (or more, as required). Basic math skills. Driver’s safety and team‑player attitude. Experience operating stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, reach trucks, and stack pickers.
