Education

RN Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing

Certification/Licensure

RN License current and valid to work in Virginia

Current ACLS, BLS and NIHH

Experience

REQUIRED: 2 years or more of RECENT bedside RN patient care experience IN STEPDOWN IMCU PCU

EPIC User REQUIRED

Current ACLS, BLS and NIHSS

Ability to proficiently and adequately care for up to 6 patients

The

Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit

(3 South) at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center provides specialized care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post-coronary interventions, post-ablation care, and myocardial infarctions. The unit also manages pre- and post-catheterization patients, as well as those experiencing acute stroke.
