Pharmacy - Pharmacist Inpatient

Facility Requirements Locals allowed: No Radius restriction: 60 mile radius rule no exceptions First time travelers accepted: Yes EMR: Meditech exp preferred Job/Unit Requirements Start date: ASAP Contract length: 13 weeks Shift dates/schedule: Wed-Tue (7 on, 7 off) Week day shifts are 1930-0530. Weekend shifts are 1800-0600. Schedule to be discussed upon interview as there are a couple of different options! Weekends Required: yes License required: MO state pharmacy license (facility will accept pending, must be in process or start once offered) Certifications required: BLS preferred # of years of experience required: minimum of 1yr required Skills preferred: Dosing (cardiac dosing), Profession Knowledge and skills (drug shortage management). Skills required: Dosing (Anticoagulation therapy, clinical dosing, geriatric dosing, high-alert med, ped dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, therapuetic med monitoring, warfarin dosing), Intravenous Preparation (antibotics, compounding, iv piggyback, sterile technique), Medication dispensing systems (pyxis, storage of medications unit dose systems), Pharmacotherapy Management for Medical Problems (Cardiovascular, Endocrine, Infectious disease, pulmonary, renal), *No pharmacy technician coverage overnight; the pharmacist is the only staff member in inpatient pharmacy during shift hours. Pharmacists are not expected to attended code blues/rapid responses. In addition to order verification, night shift pharmacist will work from a PharmacyOneSource queue to address any clinical alerts (pharmacokinetic/renal dosing, etc).
