Purchasing Specialist
Ambassador Resources is a talent recruiting and placement firm based in the northeastern United States, built on the core belief that when our job is done right, employers and job seekers both benefit over the long run. Our client in the Manufacturing industry, located in Middlesex County, is looking for a purchasing specialist to join their team. This position will be responsible for the following:
- Creating and sending purchasing orders.
- Running and reviewing reports.
- Evaluate and negotiate pricing.
- Company pricing of goods within the industry and stay up to date.
- Maintain and review any discrepancies with purchase orders.
- Timely and effective communication
- Perform related job duties as required in assisting purchasing team with any administrative functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Business or related field
- 2yrs experience in purchasing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Not required but preferred; Netsuite experience
