Site manager

TMC USA is seeking an experienced Site Manager with previous experience in installation and project execution of automated distribution centers, warehouse automation systems, conveyors, and sortation integrated systems for leading companies in the e-commerce and intralogistics sectors. The selected professional will support complex, large-scale MHE projects, combining on-site execution leadership with project management expertise to improve installation quality, coordination, labor planning, execution timelines, and overall project performance. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast- paced and highly demanding environments. Project locations typically change every 6–10 months. Candidates must be permanent residents in the USA or hold a valid USA working permit. What do we expect from you? Responsibilities Lead and manage on-site installation and commissioning teams to meet quality, cost, safety, and Support labor planning, workforce coordination, and site resource allocation for large‑scale MHE projects. Develop and execute installation project plans together with Project Managers, including objectives, organization, planning, scheduling, and cost calculations. Coordinate daily site activities with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Improve installation and commissioning quality through proactive supervision, troubleshooting, and process optimization. Support inventory management, material tracking, and on‑site staging activities to ensure Monitor and manage project KPIs related to quality, costs, schedule, productivity, and reporting. Advise and manage subcontractor and supplier activities, contracts, and performance. Ensure compliance with safety standards, customer procedures, and contract requirements. Identify project risks and implement mitigation and continuous improvement strategies. Provide regular progress reports to customers, project managers, and head office teams. Coach and mentor supervisors, leads, and installation teams to improve overall site performance. Support initiatives focused on reducing project costs and execution timelines while maintaining high quality standards. Requirements 5+ years of experience as Site Manager or Project Manager for large‑scale industrial or MHE projects involving 100+ workers. Technical degree or equivalent experience in automation, mechanical, electrical engineering, or related sectors. Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, sortation systems, intralogistics, warehouse automation, and parcel handling systems. Hands‑on experience with installation, commissioning, and site coordination activities. Experience supporting labor planning, site logistics, inventory coordination, and project execution strategies. Proficiency with project and site management software tools. Expertise in project planning, subcontractor coordination, contract management, and resource allocation. Safety‑conscious mindset with experience managing site safety protocols and high‑risk Ability to work in international and multicultural environments. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Willingness to travel across North America for project execution and site leadership activities.
