As a Senior Software Engineer within this group, you will influence services that touch every part of the business, and will be a key player in building infrastructure that makes high-quality care easier to access. Responsibilities Serve as a technical pillar within a cross-functional team, providing deep technical expertise, peer mentorship, and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate closely with product and technical leaders to conceptualize, plan, and execute on solutions that align with business goals. Take end-to-end ownership of the delivery of key technical projects. Act as a catalyst for technical excellence, setting the benchmark for high-quality code, building resilient and observable services, and championing the creation of comprehensive documentation. Requirements Has 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, 2+ of those years being in a senior role. Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design, build, and ship solutions to complex technical problems. Knows how to get the most out of AI-powered development techniques, and is excited to stay on the bleeding edge as the technology continues to develop. Brings empathy to the table, can communicate effectively within and outside the engineering organization, and cares about what patients and other users experience. Is passionate about solving problems involving complex systems related to the delivery of high quality healthcare. Our Stack Languages and frameworks: Python (FastAPI, Uvicorn, Pydantic), Javascript, Typescript, sometimes Go Databases: MySQL, Redis, BigQuery How we ship: Terraform, Helm on Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, GCP Pub/Sub.
