Job Description
Polysomnographic Technologist

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Polysomnographic Technologist to join a dynamic team. The position encompasses the assessment and treatment of sleep-related disorders while utilizing advanced equipment and techniques.

Position Information

• Department: Sleep Center
• Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep studies and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Proficiently use Alice 6 equipment for monitoring patients.
• Score studies on-the-fly and generate comprehensive sleep reports.
• Work effectively with a patient population that may include all age groups, with a focus on pediatric patients aged 3 and above.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, RPSGT
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year
• Required Skills:
  
  
  • Experience in scoring sleep studies and generating reports.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team player.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent patient interaction skills.
• Education: RPSGT credentialing required
