Travel Medical Technologist (ASCP) – Nights (Urgent Opening)

Location: Victoria, TX
Department: Laboratory / Medical Technologist

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Start Date: ASAP (Projected: 06/15/2026)

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off

• Shift:

  • Weekdays: 9:00pm – 7:00am

  • Weekends: 7:00pm – 7:00am

• No Call

• Floating Required

• No Block Scheduling

• No 48-hour guarantees

Required Credentials

• ASCP Certification required (or equivalent)

• Medical Technologist (MT) required

• MLT candidates will NOT be accepted

• Blood Bank experience required

• Advanced Chemistry experience required

• Hematology experience required

• Minimum 2 years experience required

• 5 years preferred

• BLS preferred

• Experience with Cerner preferred

• Experience with Medhost preferred

Required Submission Information

• Include Start Date with submission

• Include RTO (Requested Time Off) with submission

• Max RTO allowed: 10 hours

• Permanent home address required on submission

• Travelers missing required information will be rejected

EMR Systems

• Medhost (transitioning to Cerner)

• Blood Bank uses Cerner

Dress Code

• Any scrub color except teal

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory testing and analysis

• Work in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology departments

• Ensure accurate specimen processing and reporting

• Maintain quality control and laboratory standards

• Float to other lab areas as needed

• Support night shift hospital laboratory operations
