This role is essential for designing and implementing scalable data solutions on Azure, leveraging Databricks and Apache Spark technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
- Expertise in ETL/ELT development and optimization
- Strong skills in data modeling and performance tuning
- Proficiency in Python or Scala
- Experience with Azure cloud-based data platforms
- Production support and operational monitoring experience
- Prior work experience in the Insurance/Brokerage domain or related industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models and advanced analytics solutions
- Implementing Agentic AI / GenAI solutions using Databricks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and PySpark
- Build and optimize SQL-based data transformation and analytics solutions
- Collaborate with product owners, data architects, analysts, and business teams on data models and workflows
- Develop Delta Lake structures and enterprise data pipelines
- Implement job orchestration, monitoring, and data quality controls
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks, jobs, and workflows
- Support Azure-based cloud data platforms and ensure reliable, high-performing data operations
