Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, 7 AM - 7 PM, including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will provide general medical administration of medication and care to patients, including remote telemetry monitoring. The nurse will work within a unit specializing in General Med Surg, Post-Op Surgical, Bariatrics, and Oncology care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient care.
• Float to Medical-Surgical Telemetry as needed.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide post-operative patient care and ensure adherence to care standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
• 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
