International Import/Export Coordinator
Location: Orlando, FL 32837
Pay: $19.00–$23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented International Import/Export Coordinator to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating international shipments, preparing import/export documentation, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and international trade regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate domestic and international import and export shipments.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation or documentation issues.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update internal systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure shipment readiness.
- Review freight invoices and shipping costs for accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service while managing shipment updates and inquiries.
- Previous experience in international import/export, logistics, or supply chain coordination preferred.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and shipping procedures.
- Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations and international shipping requirements is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Experience with ERP or transportation management systems is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; logistics or supply chain education is a plus.
