Mammography Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:30)

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, and assisting with specialized procedures such as stereotactic biopsies. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in digital mammography and maintain high standards of radiation safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography procedures including 3D and digital mammograms.
• Conduct diagnostic exams and assist in specialized procedures such as fine needle aspirations and needle localizations.
• Ensure compliance with digital quality assurance procedures.
• Educate patients on breast self-exams and provide outstanding patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the department's efficiency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid California Radiologic Technologist License (CA license).
• ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT M*) and Radiography (ARRT R*).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year of previous imaging experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
