About the Role
Our client, a leading global food manufacturer with a strong presence in the North America Foodservice (NAF) industry, is seeking a Category Management Contractor to support their Walmart account during an upcoming relay season. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join a collaborative Category Advisory team and play a key role in the modular relay process for one of the largest retail accounts in the country. Job Description
The Category Management Contractor will support the Foodservice Category Advisory team through the Walmart relay modular process. This includes preparing back-end modular data, supporting automation efforts, and drawing modulars to align with customer expectations. The ideal candidate will work well within a team environment, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:

• Draw and prepare category modulars to support the Walmart Relay Process
• Prepare and manage modular back-end data and automation processes
• Collaborate closely with the Category Advisory team to meet relay deadlines and customer expectations
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and ambiguity throughout the relay season

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong proficiency in JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning
• Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in ambiguous or changing environments
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Strong project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Walmart Category Management experience on an advisory team
• Completion of two or more Walmart Modular Relays, with the ability to take a lead role in future relay projects
• Experience with modular drawing systems such as Cantactix, CKB, Engine, Nuqleous, or ShelfIQ (in addition to JDA/Space Planning)
