This role involves the assembly and installation of structural components for various fabricated products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitting or welding with the ability to interpret blueprints and work with precision to ensure structural integrity and safety. Join the team as a Fitter and contribute your skills to exciting projects while growing your career! Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour (DOE) Shift: M-F 8-hour shift Day shift. Health, and Dental with BCBS and the insurance provider. Additional benefits include retirement, profit sharing program, and uniforms after 60 days no charge. Required Abilities: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Structural fitting and/or flux-core welding experience. Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and levels. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools for metal fabrication. Experience with plasma tables, brake press, and CNC is a plus. Good physical condition with the ability to lift materials and work in various positions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities/Duties: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Measure, cut, align, and fit structural steel components using hand and power tools. Assemble and secure parts using. Inspect and verify dimensions and alignment of parts using measuring tools. Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment to position heavy components. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
