Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer

• Perform electrical system calculations and select appropriate equipment.
• Develop and review electrical layouts, project drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM360.
• Conduct construction cost estimation, administration, site visits, and coordination with other disciplines.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams (engineers, designers, drafters) from project initiation to completion.

Requirements of the Electrical Design Engineer

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, PE preferred
• At least 5 years’ experience designing building electrical systems for new construction and facility upgrades
• Revit experience beneficial, other software experience acceptable
