Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, wound care, and perform procedures such as I/O caths and trach care.
Document patient information accurately using Meditech system.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to coordinate care.
Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols.
Participate in huddles and team meetings to maintain alignment on patient care.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license and minimum 2 years of recent med-surg experience.
BLS certification required.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform advanced procedures performed on unit.
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
