Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a healthcare facility located in the vicinity. This role involves circulating for various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, urology, vascular, general, trauma, ENT, OB/GYN, plastics, podiatry, GI, spine, neuro, thoracic, and robotics. The position requires high energy, adaptability, and the ability to quickly integrate into surgical teams across multiple specialties. The assignment duration is from October 12, 2026, to January 11, 2027, with a schedule of 10 hours per day, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, up to 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid active licensed registered nurse (RN) license in the state or a compact license, drivers license with address matching demographics, up-to-date resume reflecting at least 2 years of OR acute care experience with exposure to cases such as ortho, urology, vascular, general, trauma, ENT, OB/GYN, plastics, podiatry, GI, spine, neuro, thoracic, and robotics. Must include RTO (Request for Time Off) at the time of submission. Cerner electronic medical record system experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating within the operating room to other departments is not required; floating within the OR is only within the department. Experience with high-energy environments and quick adaptation is preferred.
• Additional Information: The ideal candidate will match the specialty-specific skills checklist, demonstrate the ability to circulate across multiple surgical specialties, and possess a proactive, energetic approach to patient care. No first-time travelers accepted. Candidate may be requested to float to other hospital campuses in the network.
