Job Overview As a financial advisor at Bank of America, you will provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. You will triage client leads, make referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, and meet with clients to review financial and investment goals and recommend products. The role also includes completing required licenses and training, and may involve residential mortgage loan origination subject to the SAFE Act. Responsibilities Build financial plans for clients using brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑management solutions. Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs. Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds. Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities. Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele. Required Qualifications Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses. Self‑disciplined in managing time and capacity. Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs and recommending solutions. Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration. Demonstrates a results‑driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast‑paced environment. Executes multiple tasks simultaneously. Learns and adapts to new technology or applications. Desired Qualifications Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE). Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
