Job Description

Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, delivering product by car, and delivering flyers and door hangers. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards and access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Training and orientation provided on the job. Essential functions and skills include communication skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, navigational skills, and the ability to work under stress and meet strict quality control standards.

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to over 90 degrees, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes talking, hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, driving, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching are all part of the job.
