Physical Therapy - Physical Therapist (PT)Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment working 8-hour day shifts in a rehabilitation/LTC setting. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs while developing individualized treatment plans following regulatory and clinical practice standards.Requirements:Minimum 1 year of PT experience requiredLTC or Rehab experience requiredMassachusetts PT License requiredBLS Certification requiredNew grads accepted with Level II clinical experienceStrong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care planningAbility to supervise PTAs, rehab aides, and/or studentsStrong documentation and communication skills requiredResponsibilities include evaluating and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs, developing individualized treatment plans, administering therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, utilizing assistive devices and modalities, monitoring patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed, providing patient and caregiver education, documenting all care in the electronic medical record, participating in interdisciplinary meetings, coordinating discharge planning, supervising support staff, and maintaining compliance with APTA standards and state practice regulations.
