Labor and Employment Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified Labor and Employment Litigation Associate to join its expanding practice in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and will assist in all aspects of litigation and administrative charge work. Duties Assist in class action and single-plaintiff litigation. Prepare position statements and evaluate claims. Prepare for mediations, discovery, and depositions. Draft motions and prepare cases for arbitration and trial. Research federal, state, and local employment laws. Provide strategic advice on employment disputes. Counsel HR professionals and business executives on compliance. Draft employment agreements. Requirements 2 to 5 years of relevant Labor and Employment Litigation experience. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail. Strong academic credentials. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law in Oregon. Skills Strong research and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
