Staffing Coordinator

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is seeking a Staffing Coordinator who is a creative, energetic individual with a 'Whatever It Takes' attitude in fulfilling their job duties in Jackson, TN. A Staffing Coordinator acts as an extension of the client's HR function, managing all aspects of client contingent workforce, to include employee relationship development and management of the contingent employees. Having prior experience in staffing, manufacturing, light industrial skill sets is a STRONG PLUS! The Staffing Coordinator proactively searches for qualified job applicants for current or planned open positions. Identifies and screens candidates and conducts initial interviews via phone or online. Seeks new business opportunities to place candidates from the company’s database. Compensation And Benefits $22.00 - $24.00/ hour Weekly pay periodsevery Friday Paid vacation AFTER 3 months of employment Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance and Short-Term Disabilities Career advancement opportunities Hours 8:00am - 5:00pm Essential Functions Build and maintain strategic partnership with the client through an extensive and detailed understanding of the client's business, strategic direction, processes, and policies. Retain employees thru counseling on attendance, training and evaluations. Update live spreadsheets and forms. Interact with potential candidates via phone, social media, and professional networks Craft and send recruiting emails and SMS texts Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to determine position requirements Analyze resumes accurately Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques Interview candidates to evaluate their technical qualifications for assignments Complete employment reference checks on candidates Schedule candidates for interviews Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs Maintain an up-to-date and effective candidate database Requirements Proven work experience in staffing or recruiting (1 year or more) Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms) Solid verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills Outstanding time-management abilities Ability to work individually or on teams as required Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs) Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates and clients High school diploma or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr Workforce Solutions
