Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and patient care are met. The position requires professional skills in decision-making, communication, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and PICU protocols.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to plan and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient progress, and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with all legislative and hospital policies relating to patient care and safety.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years tertiary PICU experience
• Active RN license in Illinois
• BLS and PALS certification required
• Submission of current resume, reference from a PICU supervisor within a year, skills checklist, and IL license verification needed
