Production Supervisor – Team Lead Operations Join WITRON as a Production Supervisor! The Team Lead-Operations are responsible for ensuring daily production targets are met through effective leadership, collaboration, and problem‑solving. Acting as a front‑line manager, the Team Lead will provide direct instruction and guidance to system operators while partnering with Maintenance, Onsite IT, Corporate remote technical support and external partners to ensure system up‑time. Team Leads are the first point of escalation for a broad range of employee and system issues and must be able to multitask in the face of pressure and deadlines. Primary Responsibilities Conduct all actions with and inspire among all colleagues a Safety-First mindset Promote compliance with all relevant company policies and government regulations including OSHA Lead by example through results-focused, people-centered direction, feedback, and coaching Serve as first point of contact for all employee relations and system operational issues Develop effective processes to maintain system performance through shift changes, high volume periods, and irregular operations in conjunction with other stakeholders Maintain open and transparent relationships with customer and other vendor contacts to ensure maximum system performance Ensure operational process consistency and employee development through the design and execution of uniform training and assessment programs Follow established escalation guidelines in the event of system downtime or irregular operations Manage employee schedules and daily work assignments in conjunction with other stakeholders Leverage detailed reporting to understand system performance and implement continuous improvement projects around employee performance and system operations Coordinate with Maintenance Team to ensure minimal system impact in the execution of preventive and ad hoc maintenance activities Participate and lead (as necessary) team, site, and customer meetings to ensure open, effective communications centered on collaborative efforts to meet production goals Education & Experience Required: High school diploma with 1-3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced manufacturing, automated warehouse, light industry, or related environment Preferred: Associates degree in a relevant subject with 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory role in light industry, continuous flow manufacturing, automated warehouse, or related environment Experience working as an autonomous shift leader Familiarity with automated material handling systems strongly preferred Skills & Knowledge Ability to coordinate and supervise a team of frontline system operators Strong understanding of automated material handling systems Familiarity with basic logistics and supply chain principles Familiarity with Lean Principles, 6 Sigma, or other related continuous improvement processes Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills and tasks Strong communication skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Able to prioritize multiple tasks and workload Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines Scheduling & Travel Occasional travel within North America may be required to undergo training and/or support sister sites; rare international travel may be necessary in support of company-wide initiatives Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Must be available by phone 24/7 in the event of irregular operations and/or escalation Physical Requirements Ability to work at heights of 80-100 feet Ability to adapt to a warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from +34 degrees to -15 degrees Ability to lift and carry materials/equipment necessary to do the job Ability to walk/stand during a designated shift Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds Benefits Stability – WITRON offers competitive wage and excellent benefit package, which includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, STD, and LTD plans, a company-sponsored 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions, and a profit-sharing program Work/Life Balance – Employees have access to a generous paid time off policy, company-paid holidays, and special leave days related to certain life events Growth Potential – As part of WITRON’s commitment to promoting from within, individual developmental opportunities are made available through comprehensive on‑the‑job training and a tuition reimbursement program A Place You Want to Work – WITRON’s corporate philosophy is characterized by an open‑door policy, an environment of trust and empowerment, and a sincere appreciation shown to all colleagues WITRON is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Disabled/Veteran/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation. #J-18808-Ljbffr WITRON Group
