As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at utility service locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Help protect utility-related equipment and infrastructure by reporting damaged property, suspicious activity, or conditions requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
