Order Selector/Electric Pallet Jack Operator

Our client, a leading foodservice distribution company, is seeking an experienced Order Selector/Electric Pallet Jack Operator for their warehouse facility in Mira Loma, CA. This is a contract position with an estimated duration of approximately 21 weeks (832 total hours), working Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with up to 6 hours of overtime per week. No travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to select and transport product safely and efficiently
• Select correct products from warehouse racking based on order specifications
• Label products using SOS label technology
• Palletize product as orders are selected to fulfill customer requirements
• Stretch-wrap completed pallets for safe transport
• Deliver completed orders to the dock area
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• Hand-select orders ranging from 5 to 40 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating an electric pallet jack
• 0–3 years of relevant warehouse or order selection experience
• Basic arithmetic skills for order accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift operation experience
• Familiarity with SOS labeling systems
• Experience working in fast-paced distribution environments

About the Role:

This position is based at a warehouse facility in Mira Loma, CA, working within an ambient temperature environment (no freezer or cooler exposure). Candidates will receive one week of training, including one-on-one instruction on the first day, to ensure success in the role. This is a full-time schedule at 40 hours per week. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
