Licensed Mental Health Counselor

ABOUT US

We are a private practice highly specialized for children, teens, and adults seeking a holistic approach to mental health, with an understanding of how mental and physical health are intertwined. We collaborate with naturopaths, occupational therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, dieticians, and genetics specialists to create optimal treatment plans for each client. Neurofeedback is offered as an option outside of medication, to reduce medication, or for general brain health.

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Austin OR Dripping Springs Area Work Schedule Options:

• Primary Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Occasional Monday and Friday availability
• Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available
• Evening and weekend hours required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active License: LMFT, LCSW, or LPC (Associates will also be considered)
• Licensed in the State of Texas (additional state licensure may be considered)
• Ability to see minimum of 20 clients per week
• Willing to work with children as young as 5 years old, plus teens and adults
• Commitment to in-person sessions (not video) for child therapy
• Experience with or willingness to learn holistic approaches to mental health

• Sensory-friendly gym on Fitzhugh Road
• Art spaces with butterfly gardens
• Therapeutic gardens
• Spaces featuring a mini cow, climbing wall, foam pit, light bright room, and chickens
• Environments designed specifically for children, teens, and families

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Compensation Tiers:

• Under Supervision: $32 per session
• Starting at Licensure: $40 per session
• Annual Increase: $2 per session
• Maximum Rate: $60 per session

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

• Administrative support: Our skilled intake department manages client inquiries, insurance verification, and referrals
• In-house billing department oversees credentialing and manages insurance payments
• Professional development and training in diet, nutrition, and genetics as they affect mental health

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

• Can work under supervision (we are a teaching site accepting practicum students and interns)
• Capable of supervising LPC and LMFT candidates
• Cannot supervise LCSW candidates

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete documentation the same day of service
• Maintain clinical notes in our electronic health record program
• Follow all TX laws and applicable ethical codes
• Manage client sessions independently
• Focus on holistic mental health solutions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32.00 - $60.00 per hour
