Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Los Alamos, NM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Weekend hours required every other week or as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to childbearing-aged women and newborns in a labor and delivery unit. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor and assess fetal and maternal health.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding the labor and delivery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery (LDRP/PP experience preferred).
• Current RN license in New Mexico (or application for reciprocity).
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS.
