Machine Operator needed in Brooklyn, MI on 1st shift.  Pay is $18/hr. Responsibilities include machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and quality inspections. Must have a machining or mechanical background with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Machine Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm )

• Set up, operate, and monitor assigned machines to ensure efficient production.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Monitor production output and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Inspect and verify product packaging for accuracy and quality. 
• Work closely with the Team Leader to achieve production and performance goals.

Dress Code

• Work in a climate-controlled environment (~50°F); dressing in layers is recommended.
• No jewelry (including facial piercings, earrings, necklaces, rings except plain wedding band)
• No fake nails, nail polish, false eyelashes, or eyelash extensions
• No leggings, shorts, capris, tank tops, or sequins
• Closed-toed, non-slip, clean, comfortable shoes

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Able to comply with all dress code standards.
• Must have a machining or mechanical background with experience in machine setup and operation.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and equipment repair skills required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge to perform machine adjustments and maintenance.

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Capable of frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and kneeling.
• Must be able to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
