You will be lifting parts that come in bins, racks, and pallets and be responsible to put them on appropriate shelves in the warehouse. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped. Working in a fast-paced environment you may use certain types of equipment such as stand up forklift, sit down fork lift, pallet jack or tugger to transport product to and from production lines and to load and unload trailers. Work in a traditional warehousing type environment responsible for navigating narrow aisle ways and are expected to execute precise routes throughout the warehouse involving driving backward and making sharp turns. Utilize scanners to accurately store and transport parts to storage areas and production according to standard work instructions. Organizing facility or warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.Your Key Qualifications:Prior forklift certification preferred.6 months or more experience driving forklift.Ability to perform repetitive duties.Ability to work safely in a safe environment.Ability to communicate and work in a cooperative manner with all employees.Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.About DP World:Trade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
