Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as a paraprofessional. This full-time position begins in September 2026 and continues through the end of the school year. You’ll play a critical role in the educational growth of students, providing dedicated assistance both in and out of the classroom near Duxbury, MA.
Essential Qualifications:
Active paraprofessional credentials or certification required
Previous experience working in a high school setting is highly valued
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage and support the needs of a diverse caseload
Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional support
Provide individualized or small group academic and behavioral support to students
Implement accommodations and modifications as directed by specialized plans
Foster students’ independence and encourage engagement and participation
Monitor and record student progress, communicating observations with teaching staff
Supervise students during non-classroom activities, ensuring safety and well-being
Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
