Project ManagerThe Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities and work closely with the operations team, while helping grow and provide technical expertise in this area of the company. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated problem solver that's able to operate in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.Job RequirementsAbility to multi-task in fast paced environment. This includes goal setting, production, reporting, budgeting, efficiently solving issues with DirecTV and DirecTV customers, technician scheduling and moraleShow exemplary customer service to DirecTV, DirecTV customers, corporate leadership, subordinate supervisors and technicians, ability to instill technicians with professional, customer service driven attitude.Ensure that company policy is adhered to with respect to, but not limited to, safety, assets, production etc.Oversee business financials and provide reporting to managementProvide customer follow-up for: general inquiries, feedback on ongoing and completed projects as requiredUpdate customers with regular status updates and scope of work changesComplete regular follow up with local management and field technicians and provide frequent status updates to senior managementWork with customers and senior management to help define a scope of work for larger projects and rolloutsOther duties as assignedSalary Range: $70,000 to $80,000QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in general business; or a combination of education and work experience along with required skill setPMP or CAPM preferredPosition Requirements:Minimum 5 years' experience in Project ManagementExcellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is required.Technical Skills:Experience in an operations environment in telecommunications, VoIP, satellite, routers, networking equipment and/or cabling.Experience with telecommunication dispatching and project managementExperience working with multiple projects at one timeAbility to work with project deadlines, project changes, and the ability to overcome unforeseen project challengesAbility to trouble shoot and solve technical, personnel or other project related issuesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsSoft Skills:Ability to motivate, lead, teach and train on proper work and safety proceduresLeadership and negotiation, conflict management, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, strong customer orientationStrong business minded consultative approach with focus on profitability and marginWorking knowledge of business processes, including tender and salesStrong financial understanding; ability to interpret project financial indicators and use them as part of the decision-making processWork in schedule driven environment, including working efficiently, multi-tasking, meeting stringent deadlines, and achieving project goalsStrong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written skillsPublic speaking and presentations skillsSkills in mentoring and training employees with varying educational backgrounds and aptitudesPhysical Requirements:Lift up to 65 lbs. of equipment and toolsMay be required to work long and unpredictable hoursTravel required up to 50% of the timeMust be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testingUniTek Global Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
