Medication TechnicianHourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position HighlightsLocation: Skokie, ILFull Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pmRequired Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needA Brief Overview: Reporting to the assigned Clinical Supervisor, performs prescription refills and medication prior authorizations following designated protocols, under the direction of the Physician (MD) and Registered Nursing (RN).What You Will DoRefills routine prescription requests following designated prescription refill protocols from Inbasket messages in appropriate clinical pools.Practicing good phone etiquette and customer relations, collects and documents patient data and history as needed to safely refill medicationsReviews and updates patient records with current information relevant to medication refills.
