Senior Specialist, Systems Administrator - Cyber Infrastructure Systems

Administer, support, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS). Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible. Installation of monitoring agents, STIGing, and Hardening AWS AMIs. Monitor system performance and resource usage, identify potential problems, and implement solutions to maintain system resilience and security. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Clearance: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Required Professional Certifications: CCNA- Security, Security+ CE, or higher certification Experience working with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks. Experience utilizing virtualization technologies and backup solutions. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in administering and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure within AWS, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform. Holds relevant certifications and possesses extensive experience in system performance monitoring and security hardening.
