HOUSEKEEPER SUMMARY As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our multifamily community. This position is responsible for ensuring a welcoming and inviting environment for residents, guests, and prospective tenants. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks in common areas, offices, model units, and vacant apartments, contributing to a positive first impression and enhancing resident satisfaction. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and other common areas. Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish floors and surfaces. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of laundry rooms and fitness centers. Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents, ensuring a move-in ready condition. This may include cleaning appliances, fixtures, and surfaces, as well as removing trash and debris. Clean and maintain the leasing office, clubhouse, and other administrative spaces. Ensure that model units are clean, presentable, and ready for tours. Perform regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and vacant units to identify any maintenance or safety concerns. Report any issues to the maintenance team for prompt resolution. Interact with residents, guests, and prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner. Respond to resident inquiries and requests in a timely and helpful manner. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE At least one year of experience in housekeeping or a related field. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail, with prior experience in the hotel or hospitality industry strongly preferred. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning procedures. Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques. Must have a valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
