Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the ED, including triage, treatment and discharge planning for patients from newborns to geriatrics.
- Monitor patient condition, administer medications, perform assessments, and document care in the medical record.
- Respond to acute emergencies and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to stabilize patients.
- Collaborate with CNAs and other ED team members to ensure patient safety, comfort, and efficient flow of care.
- Maintain infection control principles and uphold patient safety standards; escalate concerns to physicians as needed.

Requirements
- Active California registered nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in emergency department/ED settings preferred
- Ability to work nights and thrive in a fast-paced ED environment
- Eligibility to work in the United States
