You'll be empowered to make impactful decisions, shape fraud prevention strategies, and contribute directly to the mission of transforming the digital landscape.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Identify and prevent fraudulent transactions, powering exceptional client resultsWork well with a team of industry experts to monitor real-time fraud decisioning softwareIndependently resolve problems that require in-depth investigation and/or researchConstantly communicate fraud trends and share best practices with peers and leadersPerform a thorough manual review of queued transactions to determine the likelihood of fraud and subsequently approve/reject said transactionsMaintain professional persistence when reviewing transactions or speaking with customersPrioritize work to meet and exceed deadlines and performance goalsReport platform issues as they arise and proactively identify potential impacts to clientsEnsure the success of Accertify's customers by delivering results dailySkills & Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree requiredStrong desire to build a career in the fraud prevention industryPrevious e-commerce fraud prevention, investigation, or similar experience preferred but not requiredFine-tuned organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills are strongly desiredExceptional problem-solving skillsDisplays confidence in making decisions quickly and independentlyMust be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentStrong internet research skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems at onceDemonstrated experience and/or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteMust have flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including non-business hours, weekends, and holidaysEnglish language speaking proficiency requiredAdditional Details:Location: On-site at the Accertify Headquarters in Itasca, IL: 2 Pierce Place, Suite 900, Itasca, IL 60143$24.04 Hour/$50,003.20/yrFlexibility to work a 4x10 weekly schedule (start as early as 6 AM CT (end 4 PM CT) or as late as 2 PM CT (end midnight CT); this will include a one-weekend shift)Training will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for three weeks, all onsite at the Itasca, IL office. Following this training, schedules will be determined based on client needs.For the first six months, the position will be entirely onsite at the Itasca office each workday, becoming hybrid (three days in the office, one day working from home) after six months. Accertify reserves the right to convert any and all positions to fully in-office in the future. Additional work-from-office days may be required throughout the year based on client/department needs.This position includes a PTO blackout period during peak season, from November 15th through the end of the calendar year.
