Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (Montgomery County, PA)

Overview Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for projects around the Montgomery County, PA area, PennDOT District 6, for the 2025 construction season. Local candidates are highly desirable; relocation or sponsorship is not available. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the contract documents by the contractor Ensure compliance with the contractor's health and safety plan Check that delivered materials conform to the contract documents Check contractor's layout and verify accuracy Prepare and submit daily reports of work performed in accordance with the employer's and Owner's requirements Maintain effective oral and written communication Follow and convey instructions Utilize computers and common office equipment Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, sit, and stand Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Wear required personal protective gear/equipment React to hazardous warnings and signals Infrequently perform manual labor Infrequently work in adverse weather conditions Limited exposure to chemicals Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or post secondary education; ability to read, write, and communicate in English and perform basic math for length, area, and volume Preferred / highly desired certifications: BS Civil Engineering NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction NECEPT Bituminous field certification ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification PennDOT/PTC CDS certification ECMS experience OSHA 10-Hour certification Benefits CDR Maguire provides employees with competitive benefits packages and resources to develop and succeed in both professional and personal lives; the program supports employees and eligible family members with a comprehensive benefits package that offers variety and flexibility to meet individual needs.
