Hilltop Residential is seeking an analytical, technology-minded Digital Marketing Specialist to help grow our digital marketing capabilities as our multifamily portfolio expands. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, this role will implement, manage, and measure the marketing systems, search initiatives, and analytics that support our portfolio-wide strategy. The ideal candidate is a curious, proactive problem-solver who enjoys digging into data, turning it into clear recommendations, and making our marketing initiatives measurable and scalable.

Job Responsibilities  

Marketing Technology, SEO & AI Search

• Implement, administer, and optimize marketing technology platforms and digital marketing tools across the portfolio.? 
• Support the execution of search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), and emerging AI-search initiatives to improve property visibility and discoverability.? 
• Coordinate the implementation and ongoing management of marketing technology pilots, including vendor collaboration, platform setup, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.? 
• Monitor website health, organic search visibility, and local search presence to identify technical issues and opportunities for improvement.  
• Support Google Business Profile optimization, local search initiatives, and digital listing consistency.? 
• Collaborate with website providers, SEO partners, and other technology vendors to ensure initiatives are implemented effectively and meet performance expectations.? 
• Help develop repeatable processes and workflows that allow successful initiatives to scale efficiently across a growing portfolio.? 

Marketing Intelligence & Digital Performance

• Analyze digital marketing performance using platforms such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and other marketing analytics tools.? 
• Track and report on key marketing performance indicators, including website traffic, conversions, and source attribution.  
• Evaluate marketing technology pilots and initiatives by establishing baseline measurements, monitoring results, identifying trends, and assessing effectiveness.? 
• Analyze portfolio-wide marketing performance to identify underperforming properties, emerging trends, and opportunities for improvement.? 
• Support the measurement and evaluation of digital presence, local listings, and social media performance across corporate and property-level channels.? 
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in marketing data, tracking, or attribution and recommend solutions.? 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.? 
• Approximately 3-5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, SEO, marketing analytics, or a related discipline.? 
• Working knowledge of SEO principles, including technical SEO, local SEO, and content SEO.? 
• Experience using GA4 and Google Search Console to analyze website and search performance.? 
• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and digital marketing attribution.? 
• Experience working with marketing dashboards, reporting tools, and performance data.? 
• Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.? 
• Multifamily real estate, property management, or multi-location marketing experience.? 

This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and will office out of our Corporate Office located at 9651 Katy Freeway, Suite 550, Houston, TX 77024.
