Job Description

Perform light cleaning duties to maintain healthcare facilities in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service by offering one-on-one attention to detail.

• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.

• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.

• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.

• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.

• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.

• Empty and clean trash containers.

• Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.

• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.

• Wipe down glass surfaces.

• Make up beds and change linens as required.

• Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.

• Respond to guest queries and requests.

• Address housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.

• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Swift cleaning abilities

• Experience in environmental service

• Skills in sweeping, custodial work, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and cleaning

• Proficiency in mopping, housekeeping, and janitorial duties

• Ability to sanitize facilities effectively

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a janitor

• Experience in cleaning and housekeeping

Work Environment

Work the 2nd shift from 5pm to 1:30am, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. The position involves cleaning healthcare offices, primarily after hours. Employees should be comfortable working independently after 1-2 weeks of training.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.50 - $14.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
