Qualifications/Experience:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or eligibility to obtain
• State licensure as required
• Previous experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging setting preferred
• Proficiency in operating radiology imaging equipment and digital imaging systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to prioritize workflow and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of radiological exams, including X-rays and fluoroscopic procedures, following physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure accurate patient identification, preparation, and positioning for optimal imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and ensure a safe working environment
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control procedures at all times
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families, ensuring a positive experience throughout the imaging process
