Production Supervisor

Job Description

• Directly supervise approximately 20 production employees

• Spend the majority of the shift on the production floor supporting operations

• Drive safety, quality, production, and housekeeping standards

• Allocate labor and resources to achieve production goals

• Coach, train, and develop hourly employees

• Review and manage employee timecards and production reporting

• Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues to minimize downtime

• Partner with Production Manager to improve efficiency and accountability

• Support weekend operations as needed (potentially every other weekend, shared with Leads)

Skills and Requirements

• Previous production/manufacturing supervisory experience

• Managed at least 10+ direct reports (ideal candidates have supervised significantly more than 20)

• Comfortable spending 95% of the shift on the production floor

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

o Hydraulics

o Injection molding

o Blow molding

• Ability to work nights, flexible schedule, and weekends

• Strong professionalism and accountability

• Ability to build relationships and lead teams effectively

• Experience overseeing employee performance, attendance, and timecards

• Proven leadership experience at a larger scale in a Lead, Supervisor, or Management capacity
